Training in the morning.
Could training in the morning really be best for you when it comes to choosing a time to workout?
This argument whether it is best to workout in the morning or evening is never-ending. But now studies have shown that working out in the morning results in more effective and efficient workouts. So, should you change your body clock and sweat first thing in the morning? Here are 5 main reasons why you should be considering it.
Exercising early in the morning will boost your metabolism, therefore, resulting in a more- calorie-burning day ahead. Your body will be driven to work efficiently and put it in a state that avoids storing and gaining too many calories that will eventually turn to fats. If you kick start your day with a quality work out your metabolism stabilizes leading to a weight loss.
This is not just psychologically proven but physiologically supported as well. Exercising in the morning results in more endorphin production that stimulates the body to feel positive and be in a good mood. It will wake your body and readies your body for the activities of the day. Starting your day with exercise will result in increased productivity and efficiency throughout the day. You will find yourself more energetic and optimistic at work or at school.
It makes take a big cup of coffee and a few snooze buttons to get you out of bed but once youโre up, youโre up! The hardest part is always getting up and leaving the bed. There are way fewer distractions in the morning that can potentially sabotage your workout. Once, you have completed your workout, you can simply go on with whatever it is you have going on for the day without the reminder of an evening workout. You become more likely to be consistent with your training if it is over with and done in the am.
You have a cup of coffee in the morning anyway so why not reap the full benefits from it? The caffeine can really improve your performance. This means that you will be able to do more reps without tiring too fast and youโll be able to burn more calories even after your workout session.
Stress will potentially melt off as your endorphins kick in when you sweat it out. This sets you up perfectly for the day. Youโll be able to tackle any job at work or home without less frustration and more motivation.
I know, I know, working out in the morning is not ideal and fit for everyone but, just give it a go and see how you like it ! if not, all that really matters is that you get to the gym whether that means in the morning or night.
